I downloaded genieOS, and I've been installing it over an
over again for about three days now...
Got as far as the X login window, but the refresh rate is
all wrong, and it gives up before my monitor (thank god).
Ack, wish you had asked first..
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
to correct whatever.
Salaam, Master.
I was farting with XF86config before I rebooted into SuSE
and got distracted by my correspondence this morning.
I'm here to find my refresh rates and intel vidcard specs.
I will attempt your command line, oh wondrous one.
tnx!
be honest...don't you feel dirty after using debian? you don't want to
be associated with the pure filth that is Peter J. Ross, do you? you
know he wrote some of the programs include with debian, right? so every
time you turn on your comp, you'll be paying homage to that internet
terrorist and all around prevert, Peter J. Ross.
be a man.
dump debian today.
Heathen!

Well, that's pretty harsh.
Dump an entire distro because of one contributor?
Once PJR is on your comp, you might as well pack it up and ship it back
to the OEM.
I think his hair looks pretty bad, and those glasses! Wow!
but please give me more reasons.
I'm a little fuzzy on the political history stuff.
He's a filthy descendant of Mary, Queen of Scots. He wears a skirt. He
fondles random animals he sees on the road. He is EVUL.
I may be presuaded, but Matt Rice holds a lot of sway with me.
Seriously, are you buying into that whole social contract thing? It
sounds like damned cult -- or communism in the OS world.
(Macintosh/20060530) 'Nuff said. meheheh
doh
caught me again.
my other comp wears a red hat. :P
Weren't you using Solaris at one time?
and now Redhat. :)
As long as it is a Linux distro I will respect you in the morning. ;)
I heard about you and your teeth...down there.
Does your mother know?

What, you think I'm better off with CRRMA?
I'm about to install it now...

but only because the demudi.agnula package server
seems to still be off-line.
I like the lean machine thing.
But not if it's not functioning.
That's just shitty.

SO now I'v downloaded the bloated 5 iso9660 images i need to burn
for the stupic Fedora. What, I need everything local?

Oh well, I've worn the crimson beanie before...
I sure hope CRRMA is worth the trouble.
